I learned to read by the age of 4, and my mom tells me that I proofread my first letter at 5 years old. She found me circling the misspelled words with a red pen like she used to do when grading my school papers. I am the oldest of six children, and my mother lovingly home-educated all six of us.

Since beginning my first editing job in high school, I have been proofreading and editing magazines, editorials, and books for 30 years.

This brings me to today. My love of reading, coupled with the ability to carefully proofread, edit spelling and grammar mistakes, and to also make editorial suggestions that do not detract from your writing style gives my services the distinction of being able to take a good book and make it a great book.
